Solomon Island Tree Boa Care
This is a simplified care for Solomon Island Tree Boas. This is how we have been caring for these animals at Lovera Exotics. There are other ways to be successful. So please do more research.
Basics
These tree boas are fairly easy to take care of compared to other tree snakes but not much information is out there about them. They are also fairly calm animals and can be handled. All we do at Lovera Exotics is put a male and female together in a 52qt tub that has height. They have 2 fixed perches in their enclosure and a bunch of other stuff to climb in and on top of. We tape a heat pad on the side of the cage and have that at 90 degrees. The rest of the enclosure is around 78 degrees. They have access to a large water bowl for soaking at all times. We use coconut bedding but they hardly are on the ground. They get fed biweekly on prey items that make a bulge for about 24 hours. We try to keep their humidity around 60% to 70%. Other than that we don't do anything else for them. If you have more questions reach out to us.
